Welcome to SEPA SHRM... The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SEPA SHRM) serves the needs of human resource professionals throughout the Greater Delaware Valley, including Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties. SEPA SHRM has almost 500 members, representing more than 200 organizations.
Chartered in September 1993 as a 100% SHRM National chapter, we are proud that we have earned a Superior Merit Award from SHRM National each full year we have been in existence and that there are NO dues beyond the National dues to join our chapter. Our national organization represents more than 240,000 human resource professionals throughout the U.S. and world-wide, providing its membership with education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation and award-winning publications.
Our mission includes being the voice of the profession on Human Resource Management issues in our Communities; furthering the body of knowledge and related competencies for the Human Resource profession; guiding the development and direction of the Human Resource profession; and the provision of cost-effective, high quality, dynamic and responsive programs and services, and a forum through which HR professionals can develop professional working relationships.

The opportunity to hold a leadership role in one of the largest 100% chapters in the NATIONAL SHRM, and AN EXCELLENT entry point to leadership in the Pennsylvania State Council of SHRM, and SHRM National.
Please join us for SEPA SHRM's Annual Special Professional Development and Networking Program! This year's event will be held on June 3, 2008 from 5:00 to 9:00. It will be held at Abington Memorial Hospital, Lenfest Pavilion, Frobese Auditorium.
The Program will feature Steve Miranda, SPHR, GPHR, Chief HR and Strategic Planning Officer, SHRM, as he takes us through his captivating presentation, "The Quick and the Dead - HR Strategies for a New Millennium, aka, the Seven Deadly Sins of the HR "
The Program will include a Networking Reception, Prizes and participants can obtain 2.0 HRCI credits for attending.
Additionally, a Transition Workshop for those in transition, will be held prior to event, from 3:00 until 5:00.
