DETAILS

"Bring Your CIO: Cybersecurity & HR Issues"

As the headlines of the day make clear, your company’s cybersecurity must be taken seriously.  Inadequately addressing the risks of data theft, ransomware and other information security breaches, as well as unauthorized or improper use of company systems by employees, can lead to real consequences, both in dollars and reputation.

  • Do your company policies help or hurt this effort?
  • Have you accounted for federal, state and local law regarding employee privacy or other potential liabilities?
  • Do your policies strengthen or undermine the workplace environment you are trying to create or maintain?
  • Is your company prepared for the next cybersecurity event, large or small?

Bottom line:  For almost any business today, technology is the foundation for its operations.  Do your policies reflect the thinking of a technology-based company in this modern era?  This program will address these questions and issues both from a technical and a legal perspective.
