Responsibilities/Duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day HR administration for 700 staff and associates in the Richmond office.
- Responsible for all tasks related to recruiting, placement, counseling, orientation and policy administration.
- Provide support for associate mentoring and evaluation programs and administers the exempt and non-exempt staff compensation programs
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE 5+ years of HR management experience in a law firm or a strong professional services environment, with an emphasis on compensation and employment matters.
- MUST HAVE strong leadership abilities to enable them to plan for, implement and supervise various HR functions and staff as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a team oriented environment.
- MUST project professional image in appearance and presentation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Vanguard, a world leader in financial services, needs a human resources professional with extensive experience in Organization Development to help the corporation and individual business units establish and align organizational development initiatives with business strategies.
In partnership with Vanguard business units, you'll conduct needs assessments that examine barriers to meeting the unit's goals and objectives. You'll help your partners identify organizational development strategies that support both long- and short-term business strategies.
Using a broad array of tools and techniques, you'll design and implement a strategy that will help business units build the capacity to continually change. Working with Vanguard leaders, you'll explore the processes needed for strategic change, build commitment to those processes to ensure that the intended changes are implemented. You'll also consult on leadership development topics as requested. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred
- A minimum of 5 - 8 years' progressive HR experience
- Thorough understanding of organization development and change management
- Background in client-focused operations
- Excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
