Responsibilities: A highly successful organization with approximately 10,000 employees located in Allentown Pennsylvania seeks a Director of Compensation and Benefits. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director will direct the planning, administration and implementation of wage and salary compensation programs and all employee benefits programs. The Director will recommend new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost-savings measures while supporting the organizational mission of "employer of choice" in the region. The organization is well known for its success in its industry and has been recognized locally and nationally with multiple awards.
The Director of Compensation and Benefits should be an HR professional with a Bachelors’ degree in Business or Human Resources and a minimum of 3 years of compensation/benefit management experience. CCP, CBP or CEBS certification is preferred. The Director must have a simultaneous hands-on and strategic approach to benefits/compensation. Proven experience with compensation surveys, incentive plans, job evaluations and classifications required, as is experience with benefit design and implementation. The Director must possess strong computer skills with proficiency in data organization and statistical analysis, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.
This position will have direct reports; previous management experience is required.
